Analytics and reporting for a garage door company
A garage door company usually has its numbers in five places: Google Ads, the Meta ads manager, the Google profile insights, the phone system and the invoicing software. None of them talk to each other, so the owner judges marketing by feel. The ad vendor reports clicks, the profile reports views, and nobody reports booked jobs.
The mistake is accepting impressions and clicks as results. A click is not a call, a call is not a booked job, and a booked job is not a paid invoice. The report that matters has one line per channel: spend, calls over 45 seconds, booked jobs, revenue, cost per booked job.
After two weeks, working means one dashboard with those lines for Google Ads, LSA, Meta, the profile and the website, updated weekly, and the first conversation about what to turn up and what to turn off.
